Pupil Premium

Pupil Premium is a grant given to schools as extra funding to help improve outcomes for disadvantaged children and other pupils who need extra support.

The school leadership makes decisions on how best to use the pupil premium funding in line with the guidance published by the government here.  Whilst the grant is determined by factors based on the numbers of pupils who receive free school meals or who are or have ever been looked after (foster care / adoption) the funding received is used wider across the whole school to support all pupils as declared in our spending reports shown below:
