Year 1 Teacher - Maternity Cover

Required from Monday 24th January 2022, or as soon as possible after that date, the governors are seeking to appoint an excellent, committed and experienced teacher to join the school on a temporary maternity cover basis to share responsibility for a Year 1 class.


*In the first instance, the current postholder who you would be covering will remain an active staff member but unable to work closely with children due to reaching their third trimestre (as advised by current HR guidance) and therefore the post will operate as a temporary contract converting to a maternity cover contract at the end of the Spring Term.  This contract will then continue on that basis at least until 31st August 2022, when it will be subject to adjustment based on needs and deployment of staff within the Year 1 team at the start of the new school year.  If you want further clarification of this please contact the headteacher as described below.
